Adobe Illustrator Tutorials 2023
In July 2022, I got the invite to join the native Illustrator tutorials creators' squad, and I couldn't believe my luck! It was like winning the creative jackpot!
En julio de 2022 tuve la invitación para sumarme al equipo de creadores de tutoriales nativos de Illustrator y no podía creerlo, fue como ganar la lotería.
The process - El proceso
Creating these tutorials is a huge responsibility for me, both technically and stylistically, not to mention socially. That's why I always stick to this tried-and-true workflow when crafting them.
Crear estos tutoriales es una gran responsabilidad para mi, tanto técnicamente como a nivel estilístico, sin mencionar la parte social. Por ello es que siempre sigo el mismo proceso de creación a la hora de idearlos.
MY FIRST STEPS - MIS PRIMEROS PASOS
I always kick things off with a dash of inspiration to pin down the theme. I dive into my saved treasures on social media and run polls among my audience to grasp the hottest, trendiest topics that Adobe Illustrator enthusiasts are itching to learn.
Siempre comienzo por la inspiración para definir el tema, veo mis guardados en redes sociales y también hago encuestas a mi audiencia para entender cuales son los principales temas en tendencia que los usuarios de Adobe Illustrator quieren aprender.
THE CHALLENGES - LOS DESAFÍOS
The ultimate challenge is ensuring the tutorial is crystal clear using only text and a reference image. So, with this in mind, I embark on a cleanup mission, keeping only the ideas that can be beautifully articulated within these constraints.
El desafío más grande es que el tutorial tiene que ser perfectamente entendible utilizando solo texto y una imagen de referencia, entonces teniendo esto en cuenta hago limpieza y me quedo con las ideas que pueden ser explicadas teniendo en cuenta estos requerimientos.
THE TUTORIAL - EL TUTORIAL
Once the idea is crystal clear, I dive into the intricate art of sectioning and step-ifying, always embracing the language suggested by Adobe. This ensures that all tutorials groove along the same cosmic wavelength, no matter who the maestro behind the curtain may be.
Una vez tengo la idea clara, comienzo a dividirla en secciones y luego en pasos, utilizando siempre el lenguaje sugerido por Adobe, que garantiza que todos los tutoriales sigan la misma linea, sin importar quien sea su autor.
THE STEPS - LOS PASOS
Each section unfolds a symphony of steps for users to gracefully waltz through, leading them to tutorial triumph. I craft these steps using, whenever possible, buttons that link the mentioned tool directly to Illustrator. It's like creating a user-friendly treasure map, guiding fellow adventurers to the coveted tools with ease.
Cada sección comprende una serie de pasos a realizar por parte del usuario para lograr hacer el tutorial con éxito. Escribo estos pasos utilizando cuando es posible botones que conectan la herramienta que menciono con el software Illustrator para que sea más sencillo para el usuario encontrar las herramientas.
THE VIDEOS - LOS VIDEOS
Adding an extra sprinkle of magic to each section, I toss in a tiny reference video. It's like a mini wizard's guide, helping users ensure they're nailing each step of the tutorial just as the creative universe intended. Because who doesn't love a visual confirmation of their creative prowess? To whip up these tutorials, I snap screenshots throughout my creative journey and then stitch them all together in Adobe Premiere.
Adicionalmente a cada sección, le agrego un pequeño video de referencia, que ayudará al usuario a corroborar que está haciendo los pasos del tutorial como era previsto. Para hacerlos voy haciendo capturas de pantalla de mi proceso de trabajo y luego las pongo todas juntas en Adobe Premiere.
THE TEAM - EL EQUIPO
Of course, while the original idea and production of these tutorials are my brainchild, I have the immense pleasure of being backed by a superhero team. They swoop in, scrutinize, and enhance each tutorial, ensuring they sparkle with the quality our users truly deserve. It's like having a squad of creative superheroes by my side, making sure every tutorial is a masterpiece!
Por supuesto que, si bien la idea original y la producción de estos tutoriales es de mi autoría, tengo el enorme placer de estar acompañada de un super equipo que revisa y mejora cada uno de mis tutoriales, para que cumplan con la calidad que el usuario se merece.
MY MESSAGE - MI MENSAJE
In every tutorial of mine, I make it a point to sprinkle in a generous dose of positivity and inclusion. Because why settle for just learning a new tool when you can also walk away with a pocketful of positive vibes? It's like infusing creative energy and good mojo into every pixel and vector, creating a tutorial experience that's not just informative but also uplifting!
En cada uno de mis tutoriales, trato de añadir una dosis de positivismo, inclusión y buena onda para que el usuario no solo aprenda una herramienta nueva, pero también se lleve un mensaje positivo.
